Commission a piece

Tell us what you want on your wall.

This is an enquiry, not a checkout. Send it and we come back with the artist's name, a firm price and a real date. Nothing is charged and nothing is committed until you say yes to that.

Chitrasutra is currently in its pre-launch phase. We are gauging interest in the collection before we officially launch and begin taking orders. Submitting this form registers your interest — it does not constitute a purchase, reservation, or binding order.

We need a name to put on the order.
Check the email address — we reply here.
We need a number to send progress photos to.
Painting takes 3–8 weeks before shipping.
Pick a piece, or choose the last option and describe it.

Every piece is painted at the size shown and ships rolled and unframed — it is the only way a patta travels safely. Framing is easy to arrange wherever you are.

This one helps us plan — please pick an answer. This is what lets the artist start — half up front, half on completion. The deposit is non-refundable once paid, since it goes straight to the artist to begin work.
How we use this information. Only to discuss and fulfil this enquiry — quoting the artist, arranging payment, and shipping the piece. We don't sell it, and we don't pass it to anyone outside Chitrasutra. You can ask to see what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted at any time by writing to teamchitrasutra@gmail.com. If nothing comes of the enquiry, we clear it from our records after 12 months of inactivity unless you ask us to keep it on file for a longer commission.
